Ok - here you go:
Ring of Fire, by P.D. BaccalarioFound in Juvenile, mystery with history mixed in.
The Eyeball Collector, by F. E. HigginsI've read some of his other stuff which is...different, but in a fun way. Good reads for Halloween, but not so creepy you can't sleep. Found in Juvenile.
The Last Thing I Remember, by Andrew KlavanFound in Young Adult, this futuristic novel is by an Edgar-award winning novelist.
The Company, by K. J. ParkerFound in Adult, 5 war veterans take their families to an island to escape the world and live in their own community. But things don't go as planned....rated excellent by Orson Scott Card.
Morbid Curiosity, by PetracelliFor those of us that enjoy reading what actually happened to Hitler in his final hours....etc. Found in non-fiction, this would make a great airplane read, or perfect for a history teacher that's trying to liven up his 10th grade class.
