Favorite Series

Angieville posted her Favorite Mystery Series today, and I thought I'd do the same...but with a twist. I don't usually enjoy series at all. In fact, I've read more 'first books' than just about anybody, but almost no seconds. So I thought since I'm pretty picky about my series, that I'd just post general favorites. Genres are listed so you know what to expect, and I've included some of Trackgeek's favorites as well. (He's completely a series kind of guy.) (Note: Not included are completely obvious ones like LOTR or Chronicles of Narnia, etc.)
Enjoy!

Ooh, Trackgeek has good taste. I love Alexander's Westmark series. And I have simply got to start the Harry Dresden series soon. I love urban fantasy.

The last installment of Flanagen's "The Seige of Macendaw" (Book #6)is another excellent installment of his "Rangers Apprentice" series. He gets an A- only because the story feels like he's dragging it out to get more books out of it - money. The whole story gets an 'A' but I'm tired of waiting a year for a book only to get a short story - a few paltry chapters. Anyway that's how it feels even though the book is 292 pages, typical of YA.
